The only thing O. B. G. Y. N. Benjamin Taylor wanted was a child of his own. His Ex-wife Liz, though barren was the joy of his life. She could not return the unconditional love he possessed for her, when it became evident his mental illness was taking over their lives. After Dr. Taylor shared with his wife that he was receiving regular visits from a Stork, She was driven to divorce him. Dr. Taylor finds solace in the Stork's promise that he will get the baby of his dreams when the time is right.
When Dr. Taylor fills in for a colleague and delivers the baby girl of an old high school acquaintance, Ms. Stork advises him the child will be his - In turn he must rid his life of all distractions.
After murder and malice, He falls in love with the child's mother whom he decides to marry. Her family having been through trials themselves were prepared for anything Dr. Taylor could bring their way. Secrets unravel and life become unbearable. Dr. Taylor enlists the help of an unlikely ally who is willing to help him reach his goal, as long as he will do the same for her in return. Following Ms. Stork's lead, the two try to tackle the task, all the while hoping to keep his new found family intact for the foreseeable future.
