Set between the unexplored eras of Stars Wars Episodes III and IV, players join forces with the dark lord Darth Vadar in order to fully wipe the Universe clean of Jedi. Though the Force powers of Star Wars titles have always been exciting and creative, this addition gives players an unprecedented range of powers and moves to use against the hordes of enemies in their path. Players can pick up opponents and toss them across the playing field, as well as numerous other objects - even Tie Fighters. Lightning powers and fast-paced lightsaber techniques are also on call during more overwhelming battles.

In this PlayStation 2 version, there are five new missions and a collection of original characters not available on next-generation formats. These give players further background on Vadars new apprentice, and let them face new villains never before seen in the Star Wars universe.

Players are finally able to unleash the full power of the Force in this darker take on the Star Wars saga.
