SEGA moves the family comedy to home consoles in this adventure title based on the events of the animated film.

The idyllic Planet 51 has more in common with colourful 1950s America than an alien home world, but when Captain Charles Chuck Baker crash lands his ship on the alien world this friendly planet is given a rude alien awakening. Forced into hiding, Chuck befriends local resident Lem in order to make his way home. Based on the summer blockbuster created by the writers of Shrek and Shrek 2, SEGAs adventure title puts players into the events of the film as they try their best to outwit Planet 51s diligent Police and Army force and send Chuck home.

As players race across the expanse of Planet 51, a range of hover vehicles are on offer to help complete each quest, including cars, pick up trucks and even lawnmowers. Chuck and Lem each have their own special abilities that can be used to complete each mission.

Planet 51 brings the 1950s alien vibe of the summer film to consoles, capturing the playful spirit of the film with its detailed depiction of Planet 51.
