Even the famous philosopher Aristotle dealt with the jugglers of the sun, he called them psyche. For butterflies live twice in completely different bodies and with unequal habits of life: first a life as a crawling, voracious caterpillar, and then, as if after a resurrection, a completely different life as a colorful, nectar-snacking flying insect. No wonder, then, that man has always admired the flying jewels. The name is ambiguous, because in the past they were taxidermied and traded for not inconsiderable sums. Today they delight us with their existence, as an enrichment of our nature. But they are desired photo models, because also I deal with this insect group in the entomological area for a long time. So, over time and with a lot of effort, I took these colourful pictures in a natural environment, including flowers that butterflies like to visit. This is how the title of this calendar came about. I hope to have aroused interest with these natural pictures about butterflies. This successful calendar was re-released this year with the same images and updated calendar.
