Seven more glorious episodes charting the troubled lives of penny-pinching shopkeeper Arkwright and his overworked, bullied and socially-frustrated nephew G-G-G-Granville and their ancient till's continued quest for blood. Nurse Gladys Emmanuel, who lives across the road, is the lucky lady who's the object of Arkwright's affections. This series see Arkwright trying his best not to spend money on a new washing machine, an old ice-cream van and a new suit, even a hotel room for their first night together.
