Cosmopolitan musician Peter Higgins (Robin Nedwell) moves to the sleepy rural village of Shillingsbury and gradually finds himself in charge of the local brass band. Episodes are: 'The Shillingbury Tinker'; 'The Shillingbury Melon'; 'The Shillingbury Cloudburst'; 'The Shillingbury Legend'; 'The Shillingbury Miracle' and 'The Shillingbury Daydream'.
