War drama directed by David Aboucaya about an Allied offensive of the Second World War in the depths of winter. In January 1945, with a gruelling winter settled on the French region of Alsace, a joint force of American and French paratroopers are faced with the difficult task of clearing a forest of German forces in anticipation of a massively important push into enemy lines. Beset by extreme conditions and the rigid defences of a thoroughly entrenched foe, the weary regiment must find a way to victory against all odds.
