The Innocent Sleep

British crime drama inspired by the case of Roberto Calvi, 'God's Banker', found hanging under Blackfriars Bridge in 1982. Rupert Graves stars as a London down-and-out who witnesses a gang killing, but when he tries to report the murder to the police he recognizes the policeman (Michael Gambon) as one of the gang. Befriended by George (Graham Crowden), an ex journalist, he tells his story to an eager young reporter (Annabella Sciorra).

But by now the crooked copper is on his trail, and wants him eliminated.
