French thriller based on the real-life story of serial killers Raymond Fernandez and Martha Beck. After running away with her two children from her manipulative husband, Gloria (Lola Dueñas) meets small-time criminal Michel (Laurent Lucas) via an online dating website. They fall in love and Gloria's feelings for Michel are so strong that she decides to abandon her kids and help him pull off scams in which he seduces widows in order to steal from them.

Mad with envy, Gloria kills one of Michel's victims, Madeleine (Stéphane Bissot), but the couple stay together and continue down a shockingly violent road...
