Thriller starring Selma Blair as a reclusive heiress forced to confront the outside world when her neighbour dies in mysterious circumstances. Having remained inside her Manhattan loft apartment since the day 20 years ago when she inherited her father's fortune, Abigail Clayton (Blair)'s self-imposed isolation is brought to a sudden halt when her neighbour dies, prompting a visit from NYPD detective Frank Giardello (Giovanni Ribisi). Distressed by what she sees as an invasion of her privacy, Abigail tries to restore the status quo by purchasing her dead neighbour's apartment.

But when her attempts are unexpectedly thwarted, the arrival of new neighbours Lillian (Amy Smart) and Charlie (Jason Lee) heralds a terrifying change from Abigail's previous existence.
