With her thirtieth birthday rapidly approaching, the eponymous model has been driven to despair; trapped in a self-imposed mindset in which she believes she is too old and overweight to compete in her body-beautiful industry... and ultimately trapped in a psychiatric hospital where she is drugged into an almost catatonic state. It is from here we witness—through a series of flashbacks--the circumstances that forced the previous 'queen of the catwalk' to become a shadow of her former self; a tortured soul who content to live in an asylum rather than face another day in the savage, back-biting world of fashion.
