Bishal Dutta writes and directs this American horror starring Megan Suri and Mohana Krishnan. Sam (Suri) and her best friend Tamira (Krishnan) are Indian-American high school students growing apart from each other as they each seek to reform their identities. Tamira is keen to retain her heritage and adopt the Hindu culture she was raised in, whilst Sam wants to blend in more with her peers.

The rift seems to have caused Tamira to isolate herself and she has begun to act strangely, observing Sam from a distance while carrying around a mysterious jar. Tamira suddenly confides in Sam that she believes she is being plagued by an ancient Hindu curse, one which will attach herself to Sam when it destroys Tamira as its host. Can Sam find a way to break the curse and save them both?
