Akiko Tsuruga, Jeff Hamilton and Graham Dechter have taking the organ trio to new heights wowing audiences everywhere they play. Their new recording is titled Equal Time because all three are leaders in their own right and as a group they share the spotlight as individuals. Their performance is energetic, passionate and a lot of fun to hear. The great Lou Donaldson calls Akiko the "Queen of the organ." She composed 3 of the 8 tunes on the album, Hamilton and Dechter each contributed one and the rest are by great writers like John Coltrane, Hank Mobley, Steve Allen and Johnny Mercer.
