This expanded release also unveils rare and previously unreleased outtakes and alternate takes from the iconic recording sessions. Discover never-before-heard versions of album favorites like “Rock & Roll Doctor” and “Oh Atlanta,” alongside early renditions of tracks such as “Long Distance Love” from 'The Last Record Album' and an early, unfinished version of “Day At The Dog Races” from 'Time Loves A Hero'.

Adding to its allure, the deluxe edition features recordings that nearly vanished forever. The original sessions took place at the unique Blue Seas Recording Studio in Baltimore—a studio aboard a converted barge that tragically sank in 1977. Believed lost for decades, these tapes provide an extraordinary glimpse into the band's creative process during this pivotal era.
