Dandelion Lotus Records, a new Brussels based label, kickstarts Dalai Lama Renaissance (DLR) with a contemporary, introductory EP, containing three of their own songs and a wealth of slick remixes by some fellow artists: Zack Christ, Sun Glitters, Stephen Farris, Coco Bryce, Kara Cey & Drifter. Recorded over three years (2009-2011), their songs represent each one of these years and hence the early progression of the band. They are only the beginning of DLR's forthcoming sounds. · Introductory? Yes, the band plans on opening up even more with the release of a full album (August 2012). Stay tuned for more. · Contemporary? DLR has always wanted to tell their story including many other characters. By not only focusing on their own sounds, but on today's musical landscape in general, they aim at creating an interactive flow between their fellow musicians and themselves. Formed in the winterfall of 2009 the young trio started exploring different instruments and electronic sounds.
