After many hits in rock and roll and country rockabilly,in 1993-94,Joey re-entered the world of top 40-pop. After discovering Claudio Picarella from Belgium and Phillip Antoine also from BelgiuM. a successful producer and publisher.They met at MIDEM in 1994 in Cannes France.Joey was impressed with the melodies and offered to write new English lyrics and enhance the melodies with his own style of euro pop arrangements...the three created a new style for joey they called euro pop.......the results were 3 grammy nominated songs.....Everyday for the Rest of My Life with Babbitt....One Stormy Nite with Dave Fender,and Universal Love with A.Parravano.....enjoy the euro pop by Joseoh Welz who not only lives in a black and white world,but continues to reinvent himself and create new styles for his music on Canadian American where our future is built upon it's' past....Gabriel Maciocia.
