Met a Girl Sam Peters
Met a Girl
Sam Peters
I grew up in the green creeks of Topanga Canyon and I learned how to play music by jamming with my friends. I wanted to steal a little bit of the mojo that all of them had. They all played so well. Joe Karnes, Dan Ubick, Robin Moxey, Gene Perry, Miles Tacket...these guys were my heros. I have played in a number of small bands that deserve some mention....BubbaTeakis,SunCityPlayers,What's the Bob? Recently I got some of my songs into an independent film (Debating Robert Lee) and am hoping to get more of my material placed. I am also putting the final touches on my newest album. I teach guitar on the side and feel blessed to able to make music for a living. In teaching guitar I have learned a tremendous amount about music and myself.
