This 2001 recording is a rare gem, a quiet and beautiful recording bringing Ernie Watts together with pianist Ron Feuer. The project is composed of duets for saxophone and piano, an uncomplicated format that allows each musician to share his individual inspiration on a number of well known compositions such as "l loves You Porgy," "Daydream" and "Younger Than Springtime." And each musician also brings a few originals to the mix, creating a diverse collection of ballads both classic and new. Not available previously at retail, this is a unique setting in which to hear Watts and his warm, signature tone.
