This second volume of the Belcanto series explores the lives and work of more great tenors from the '78rpm era', when recording, and sound in film, were coming into their own. Six 30-minute segments are presented here on Lauritz Melchior, Helge Rosvaenge, Jussi Bjorling, John McCormack, Georges Thill, and Ivan Kozlovsky. Interspersed with footage of their performances are interviews with contemporaries, family, and experts who explore the lives and vocal techniques of these talented singers.
