Carlos Marquez is a songwriter, arranger, producer and the lead vocalist of 'LA SEPTIMA AVENIDA' (seventh avenue) He graduated from Javeriana University in Bogotá as a music producer. He obtained his master degree in 'Performing Arts Management' from Florida International University. CARLOS is an excellent artist capable of performing the best repertoire of Colombian and Latin music. His poetic and inspired songs have captivated audiences from different generations. As a promoter he has organized concerts for his own band and for renowned artist such 'ANDRES CEPEDA' and has alternate with excellent artists such as JORGE CELEDON, FULANITO, BINOMIO DE ORO, GRUPO NICHE. The vision of Carlos Marquez is to open and establish a wider market for Colombian music in the United States and Latin America. As one of the steps taken to achieve his vision he is promoting his new single 'DAME AMOR' that aspires to become a number one hit in the Latin Market in 2009-2010.
