The band was founded as Peacock in 1975 by Tommy Betzler and first toured the Rhine-Main area and built up a small but loyal fan base. In 1980 they recorded their debut 'The Prophet', produced by Klaus Schulze. It turned out that there was already a band of the same name, so they renamed themselves to P'cock. 1981 followed the second P'cock album 'In 'cognito', produced in Klaus Schulze's studio.
