The Sassy Swingers went on a quest for what makes them So Sassy: Swing, fun, joie de vivre and love for the audience! This album comes as a result of 6 years of touring. So Sassy is full of the sounds of Dixieland Brass Bands from New Orleans : from Jazz, Blues to English and French Creole. With the inspiration of masters such as Louis Armstrong the ambassador of Dixieland, and the blues empress Bessie Smith, and of the numerous modern bands defending New Orleans music, they never forgets to add their Sassy French Touch.
The brand new compositions feature a range of unusual acoustic instruments: The sousaphone, washboard, drums, trombone, clarinet, trumpet and banjo constitute the sound pillow on which Sandrine Arnaud's voice delicately rests.
