‘Boom Boom Ultimate Animals 1963-1966’ es la publicación retrospectiva más completa de The Animals jamás realizada.

Repartida en ocho CD y un DVD, esta impresionante colección se sumerge en el breve pero sumamente productivo periodo de la banda entre 1963 y 1966.

Con más de 150 temas, la caja ofrece joyas inéditas junto a todas las grabaciones de estudio de la banda de 1963-1966, reunidas y remasterizadas por primera vez en una sola publicación.

El DVD incluido contiene el documental perdido hace mucho tiempo The World Of The Animals, dirigido por Richard Mordaunt y grabado en 1965/66 durante las giras de la banda por Estados Unidos y Polonia. Un retrato histórico único y un visionado obligatorio para cualquier fan de The Animals.

El CD1 contiene el álbum debut homónimo de la banda, The Animals, en una edición remasterizada, complementada con sencillos que no formaban parte del álbum original, las grabaciones de Graphic Sound y tres actuaciones inéditas de Radio Luxembourg.

El CD2 ofrece el segundo álbum de la banda, Animal Tracks, en una edición remasterizada con temas extra, mientras que el CD3 por fin le da al tercer álbum, Animalisms, una esperada reedición británica junto con los sencillos correspondientes que no se habían incluido anteriormente en el álbum.

El CD4 y el CD5 marcan el primer lanzamiento oficial británico de las mezclas en mono y estéreo de Animalism, respectivamente, que nunca fueron publicadas por Decca en el Reino Unido debido a la disolución de la banda a finales de 1966.

El CD6 y el CD7 se sumergen en las legendarias sesiones de la banda para la BBC. Con 59 temas, se presentan todas las grabaciones conocidas y conservadas de la BBC por primera vez en una publicación oficial y autorizada.
