'A Night With Mr. C' is the second solo effort from sax-man Clarence Clemons a.k.a. The Big Man. Clarence was from the beginning in 1972 until his death in 2011 a member of Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band. As guest musician he played on many, many albums from Aretha Franklin to Twisted Sister and from Herman Brood to Roy Orbison and Lady Gaga. The Big Man has always tried to make different types of records, when he could have played it easy. Listen to "Forgiveness" and you'll hear a side of Clemons' music that hasn't seen the light of day in years, a moving instrumental even Junior Walker would have been proud of. Mr. C's guests a.o. Kim Carnes, Betty Wright and Jan Hammer.
