Mister Saturday Night's Eamon Harkin dishes out another dose of rocking revamps on this the second release from his Subway Series imprint. This time the Throne of Blood man takes three numbers which should be somewhat recognizable to discerning ears and mutates them into jams designed firmly for the dance floor. 'Party Out of Sight' is a superb re-work of the Bill Wither's seminal Harlem. This edit made it's first mark a few years ago in an earlier guise on mp3 but has now been further spruced and improved for wax. 'The Better Kind' stretches out Joy Division's 'Means to an End' and underpins it with a rocking drum pattern whilst 'Turn Up the Funk' is an excellent re-work of the proto Hip-Hop number 'Shoot the Pump' from back in the day. A real bumper package!
