Bliss (Robert Dietz Remix) Matthias Vogt
Bliss (Robert Dietz Remix)
Matthias Vogt
The best way to describe the character of what Matthias Vogt [one half of famous Motorcitysoul project] delivers with “Bliss", is to simply call it not more and not less than a beautiful techno track. A jaw-dropping dancefloor frenzy of a tune that immediately evolves it’s massive power once the tremendous bassline escorted by an irresistible detroitish sounding groove is being unleashed with the moment the needle hits the surface of the record. Somehow Vogt’s track manages to simultaneously create an almost overwhelming atmosphere. Thus, the listeners gain a tangible experience of the feeling that existed back in the days when Detroit Techno & the Rave Age were on their climax. “Bliss” comes along as if it has been perfectly custom made for proper summer party madness - a true jewel in the International Freakshow’s catalogue. The flipside of the record belongs to Robert Dietz’ Remix version and starts in a more subtle and laidback manner, without failing to reach a level of deepness similar to the Original version. Robert Dietz doesn’t need to hide his Frankfurt techno inspired roots and proves once more that he seriously knows how to carefully shift the necessary ingredients that are needed for creating functional techno tracks that keep bodies moving from the very beginning to the end of the record.
