A young woman raised in New York City grew up with a fascination for voodoo, actually for any aspect of the supernatural. She makes her way to Haiti where voodoo is still a part of everyday life for many of the people living there. She is invited to take part in voodoo ceremonies, and she is accepted as one of the family and is exposed to the deepest secrets held by the people who befriend her. This play is for an actress and a narrator. It is based on a true account of a woman's experiences.
