Life is good for 11 year old Jimmy. He enjoys his friends, day dreaming, fishing, his pet dog and playing football, basketball and baseball. He likes school, but loves the summertime better. Every year he looks forward to their family vacation to the New Jersey Shore. This is the story of his family trip to the circus. The circus takes place under a large Big Top Tent with a company of performers and trained animal acts for an evening of entertainment. Jimmy gets to see acrobats, wire walkers, jugglers, clowns and trained animals. It provides an evening of entertainment that will last for a lifetime. James Curtis Geist is a graduate of Nyack College and the Alliance Theological Seminary. He served as a pastor in NYC for five years and as a high school history teacher in NYC and Newark for sixteen years. In 2012, he was voted Teacher of the Year and has served as an activist against modern day slavery, genocide in Sudan, sweatshops and child labor. Since 2016, Geist has written a memoir, eight books of poetry and anecdotes, five children's books and books on U. S. History, Global History and on the United States Presidents. Geist lives in the woods of northern New Jersey and is married to a Filipina on the verge of getting her U. S. citizenship.
