Publisher Marketing: Dance me When the Witnesses are Gone is Dr. Jane's debut in writing a fictional novel. The cover of the book represents a spirit of her fictional heroine, Sasha. According to Rebecca Wiles, "Red bird of fire comes forth through the ashes; a new bird shedding the old self which no longer is needful." Similar to this bird, Sasha sacrifices self for renewal and makes changes in her and her family lives for better while did not destroy anything. The canvas of the Sasha's lifelong story woven from the puzzles of the varied venues accompanied by both heartrending and exciting adventures as they took place within different periods of her living path. A few real life scenarios, taken from Dr. Jane's own and her surrounding experiences, had become quite handy in terms of providing the author with the material that would be hard to imagine. For instance, it would be mostly impossible to describe what people had experienced under the rain of nuclear ingredients exploded from the atomic reactor during the first eight days of the catastrophe without any clue that it had happened and what allowed Sasha's family to leave its homeland in Europe for America in 1990s. The same may be said about four-year-old child's experience, whose father was arrested during the Stalin's regime and her entire family was kicked off from home into the dirty-snow street just in pajamas. Despite some chronicles, provided in the novel to highlight the historical context that affected Sasha's family and decision-making, the most stories are encouraging and full of exciting adventures. Stories include a variety of the romantic twists accompanied by the joyful creation of new relationships, sparks of love, self-establishment in a new land, and traveling. The novel arises a variety of philosophical questions about the life and shows that finding the new lease of life is quite possible while finding a variety of ways to raise ourselves from the ashes.
