Doctor Peter Anderson has invented a computer generated Heaven called the Heaven Project where the souls of the departed can spend their eternal existence. This virtual world is much like the real world we live in, but does not limit the inhabitants in what they can build, and they can even transform their own appearances. Unknown to Dr. Anderson, an international terrorist by the name of John Exetor had purchased a ticket into Dr. Anderson's virtual Heaven upon his death, and is now corrupting the grid by turning the virtual paradise into perpetual hell, enslaving the inhabitants in a canyon pit, and creating an army of cyborgs, mechanized tanks, Minotaur soldiers and more to gain dominion and control over the virtual world one sector at a time, while transforming himself into a demonic figure to instill fear over the enslaved. Now, Dr. Anderson's team and a team of government experts must enter the virtual world in coma-induced states, and attempt to find and kill Lord Exetor and free the inhabitants with the help of the rebels from Exetor's evil and cruel rule before it is too late.
