Publisher Marketing: Dr. Brent Lee is a scientist who lives in Los Angeles in the city of Santa Monica with his wife, Ashley Lee and daughter, Cindy. Doctor Lee works at the Daystrome Research Laboratory in Los Angeles developing drugs and working toward discovering new cures for diseases. Doctor Lee and his assistant, Doctor Gail Johansen while working on a treatment for the AIDS virus accidentally discover a cure for AIDS. However, after they present their findings to Richard Day, the Senior Director of the Institute, they are told that their cure would be bought and would not be made public, and they were told to remain silent about their cure due to the fact that their cure would hurt the profitability of the entire pharmaceutical industry. Fearing that their cure would never be brought to light, Doctor Lee opposed the Director, saved his research findings, took all hard copies and erased his research from his computer and fled. His assistant, Doctor Gail Johansen was killed and Doctor Lee's family taken hostage by rogue CIA agents and held for ransom, to be exchanged for the cure. Now, Doctor Lee is blamed for the murder of his associate and the disappearance of his family and is on the run from the authorities; fleeing to the rugged San Gabriel Mountains and fighting the elements, wild animals and the law. As time runs out, Doctor Lee must find a way to clear his name, save his family and bring the cure to light before it is too late.
