To protect himself, he kills a garage attendant and is once again on the run. With his new found crew, Skull, Brains and Joe; a South African; they head for North Queensland and the prawn trawlers, and life becomes comfortable for them all, but Melbourne keeps drawing them back; back to trouble. The story follows Johnnie's life until its final conclusion. You will love Johnnie, hate him and sympathize with him, but Johnnie is no good and everyone around him become caught up in his crimes.
