Someone to Watch Over Me

Alexandra Wesson and Michael Grady attended the same school in Winchester, Virginia; but they came from two very different worlds. Alexandra's family was a first family of Virginia with wide political and social connections in Washington, DC and other foreign capitals. Michael was the eldest of six children in a working class, Irish Catholic family. As Alexandra pursued the competitive world of opera, Michael attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and began the career in the military that would eventually bring him to secret missions throughout the world. Their lives intersected and then drifted apart until a fatal turn of events that changed their future forever. On a mission for the Army, Michael is taken prisoner and held in an unidentified location in the Middle East. Alexandra must use all of her resources to find Michael. His life and her future hang in the balance as she works to free him from his captors and reunite him with the woman that he loves.
