Prophet of the New Dawn is mostly a sea story. Solomon and Elijah Benoit born to a life of commercial fishing are extraordinary young men, caught in the throes of economic upheaval. The plot is dark and mysterious but interspersed with astonishing faith, loyalty, and compelling love. The cast of characters overlaps with the previous novel in this series, "Final Judgment."
