Hungry Thirst Virginia Mordecai
Hungry Thirst
Virginia Mordecai
Joshua Scott led a charmed life until the age of thirteen years when his sister accidentally fell into a pot of boiling chitterlings. His parents blamed him for this and he was banished from the home never to return, which he didn't. Thrown out of his house and disowned, with a small amount of money and a little food, he made his way to Jackson, MS. During his journey, he would encounter a very large, Black man who would save his life on a couple of occasions and they would become lifelong friends, or as near as Joshua could come to being a friend. Over a period of time he became financially successful but was never able to quench his thirst for life.
