Along with the medical professionals, doctors, surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses, I am passionate about the sick, their healing, and restoration. Moreover, I am more passionate about those who develop this monstrous disease called cancer. This disease afflicts people every day of the week. Yes, this is a disease that doesn't have respect for socioeconomic status, gender, age, race, creed, color or nationality. Cancer doesn't care if you are physically handicapped, mentally challenge or spiritually bound. It does and has developed in human beings across all countries. The book, One Out Of Eight: The Struggle, became a distractor from what seemingly was a death sentenced. The book became that change agent that altered her life by building faith, restoring hope, and becoming her healing wings. It allowed her to escape from her immediate circumstances as it refocused and redirected her mindset. The book was a testimony which she identified with and from which she drew strength. Her purpose was resurrected as her life was regenerated. The healing balm that laced the pages of the book, The Struggle, provided comfort, peace and structure to a chaotic situation. Further, the book spoke to her situation and ministered life and restoration. Finally, the book stimulated healing and life to a sick and dying individual.
