The story begins in the year 1739 when thieves and highwaymen roamed the English countryside in North Yorkshire. Our heroin is a pretty little sexy blond by the name of Fanny Flanders who works as a live in maidservant for a fat greedy rich merchant called Tubby Shuffelbottom in the city of York. Fanny who was born into a poor family is driven by ambition and uses all her charms and every trick in the book to seduce many rich clients which eventually enables her to follow her dream of one day becoming a successfully rich society lady . This is another wonderful humorous book not to be missed.
