The Millians are the perfect black family. Richard is the top Judge in the District of Columbia and Vivian a well-known Social Worker. Hard-working, family and goal-oriented leaders of the community they raise their two children as they should, leading by example. Faithful workers in a local church, the Millians are God-fearing Christians that are loved by many. Their caring hearts turned their lives upside down, when Vivian took the case of a well-connected troublemaker's abused infant daughter. Trying to love the baby caused them to become extinct, leaving their two beloved children in the hands of a crooked family. Hell began for six-year-old Nakiah for years, until one day she could no longer live as a slave anymore. Finding out some information that had been kept from her for years, only ignited her resentment. There was a connection to this hell she had endured and Nakiah was ready to put the pieces together to extract the vengeance that the voices in her head reminded her of daily. Time had run out and she was done playing nice.
