The magnetic field influences the responses of biological system, as the life developed under the influence of the earth?s geomagnetic field. All the tissues of the body and nervous system carry electromagnetic charges and the cell regulation is governed by electromagnetic currents of the body. The body itself creates a magnetic field termed as biomagnetism. The medical use of magnets has been reported through the ages, as, in recent years, been the subject of world wide interest. The space research has shown that the loss of calcium from the bone, in astronauts, is due to lac of magnetic field action on the body in the space. The magnetic field influences the organism in bioenergetic way and completely permeates the body and thus, every single cell. It causes better circulation of blood, increasing the partial pressure of oxygen in the tissue and resulting in an accelerated transportation of metabolic waste products. The Present investigation concluded that treatment of mulberry leaves under 3000 gauss magnetic strength for 45 minutes exposure is most suitable for the improvement of economic traits and silk producing potential of Bombyx mori Linn.
