Quickly upon arrival, she is forced to face her deepest fears of fighting and self-defense. With the help of her new friends, old friends, and guides she finds her true self in the process. She wakes up to the reality of how deeply corrupt the government is. If she fails to grasp her inner warrior the Philippine government will succeed in retaining the Igorot's land rights and will be forced to leave their homeland.
