Diwata feels like she'll never find her place in the world - until her indigenous Igorot ancestor visits her in a dream and sets her on the right path. The spirit world guides her towards purpose and meaning by showing her how to heal people of debilitating diseases, illnesses, and even spiritual possession. Diwata learns that she comes from a long line of Filipina Babaylan; aka shaman. With the help of her best friend Lila and a New Age store owner, Beth, she learns how to channel her spirit guide, and heal people. Things get scary when an obsessive protester starts harassing and stalking Diwata, and claiming to the public that she is a fake that is out for the money. Life gets more difficult when her husband becomes possessed by a powerful Hantu demon determined to consume and end his life. Will Diwata be able to save her husband and will she be able to overcome the pressure of her harasser?
