This book is about looking to the promises of God, then getting there. It is about being threaded from the place where you are to the place where God intends you to be. If, indeed He has a plan for your life, then He also has a place where He wants you to end up. I will outline the difference between your calling, being anointed, training and being given a mission that is on God's heart. On a Wing and a Prayer is the difference between knowing where you want to be. It is the door between here and there, now and whenever. For we see in a mirror dimly now, but in time, we will see clearly. In time we will know truly, without a doubt. But, for now we are not sure. And what is the difference between being not sure and knowing without a doubt something is true. It is the same thing which brings you through to that place which, up until now, you only saw in a dream. We cannot manufacture it because we do not have the building products for such a place. It is impossible to fake belief in something which we hold to be false. Others know. And every once in a while, in a field full of yellow daisies, there will be a purple one. It is someone who stands out affirming that something is true. But, we argue, it is not tried so how do we know it is true?God does not fabricate from that which already exists: He creates new from not. And every once in a while, He puts it into someone's heart to see the finished product before it's built. That individual can see an arm grown where only a stub now stands. That person can see a bridge where there is a chasm between. Oh, we say, 'Certainly, you are but a dreamer. It has never been done before. 'And, isn't that what a dreamer does: peek through a dark place to see a picture of something which does not {yet} exist? A dreamer sees a light that shines onto the back of his imagination revealing things not seen by the physical eye. He peeks into a place, just like peeking through a keyhole, to see things happen which aren't{yet]. Is the dream true or not? Faith is what gives us spiritual eyes to see the dreams of God and it is His grace which pulls our belief through the keyhole; then we follow carried by His power.
