This book came about when another book, originally entitled Miracle's was split in half like a piece of paper on edge. In order to understand what Pillow Talk is about, it is important to recognize its history. When I first began writing, as reviewed in the Letter from the Author which follows, I was drawn by the Holy Spirit and issued a personal challenge to God asking Him to teach me to love Him the in a different way. I had grown weary of attempting to be 'spiritual' by learning Church programs, attending Bible College and memorizing volumes of Scripture. At the age of 40, I was a 'washed out' Christian with a feeling that Christianity didn't really work for those who had real problems. Being faced with a troubled marriage, financial problems and distressed teens, I was at the end of my rope feeling abandoned by the religion which I had put my hope into for many years. It was at this point that I issued a challenge to God. Indeed, it was bold to assume I could speak to the Creator of the Universe with such a casual tone, but I felt that, being overwhelmed with such exasperation, I was in a special situation and, if He was who He said He was, then He would be gracious and give a little mercy. God met my challenge by sending the Holy Spirit. I opened my life in a new way to become a place where He took control. My challenge was easy, "If You are who You say (through the Bible) You are, then enter into me as it is written in John 14 and teach me how to love You."The first book I wrote was a composite of poetry and dreams. The subject was based on the book of Proverbs recognizing that God's wisdom is greater than ours. We don't really know who we are except that we can ask our parents and friends, and then combine with education to come out with a result. But, what if we were to ask God, and learn to listen to His response? Surely the One who created us knows the original intention of our lives better than anyone else. That first book was quite lengthy and combined refreshing love poetry with dogmatic instruction related to how God speaks today. Being instructed by God in dreams not to release any of the books, I continued to write and, before I knew it, I had four books completed: Miracule's, Tomaseña, Katísha and Coríanta. Inclined to be grateful for the outpouring which had been given to me, I prayed and decided to give my first fruit book to God as an offering. In essence, I laid the first-born, Miracle's on the altar and returned it to God. When I did, He kept it. That first book as it was originally written, will never be published. As soon as I 'gave' the book to Him, He began giving a series of dreams changing the manuscript and re-directing the outcome of the original book to such a degree that I was inclined to set several pieces aside as the book was redesigned. Intimate Relationship with Jesus is the other side of the piece of paper from the split of the original manuscript called Miracle's. The book is mushy and paints a picture of a woman swooned by a lover, the Holy Spirit. Enjoy my soap opera for I have been cleansed by the blood of the Lamb and fallen in love with my Jesus.
