Atypical Cases in Obsessional Neurosis Amine Guen
Atypical Cases in Obsessional Neurosis
Amine Guen
Obsessional neurosis is a very ancient terminology used in European psychiatry to describe a very ancient mental disorder too, and that could be related to the well known diagnosis of obsessive-compulsive disorder in North America. The purpose of this book is to expose some rare atypical forms, based on the obsession theme, the beliefs of the patients and their awareness about the disease, the symptoms, and the possible complications. We will use pictures made by the patients themselves, with permission, to fulfill our objectives. This is the original version, and there are also a shorter one under the title of "Atypical cases in obsessional neurosis: Summarized version", and a simplified one as "Atypical cases in obsessional neurosis: Version for all ". We wish you a very good reading and all the best.
