Adventures Of Tickey Bananas Paul Shore

Tickey Bananas, the little spider monkey woke up to a great commotion. He rubbed his sleepy eyes and looked around... Animals of all kind covered the jungle floor, and everyone sounded so angry!

"Mama," Tickey said to his mother. "What's going on?"

"Something odd has been happening for the last week in the jungle," Mama replied.

"Like what?" Asked Tickey.

"First, all the honey hives disappeared. Then, the peanuts were gone, and lastly, there were no bananas left in the entire jungle." Mama explains.

Tickey's eyes grew the size of the moon. Nothing like that had ever happened in the jungle!...

Tickey shrieked loudly, getting everyone to pay attention to him again.

"We need a hero that can discover who is taking our things and I'm going to be that hero!" he leaped to the ground and slid on a banana peel.

"We are doomed," said a bear as everyone else laughed.

"Laugh all you want! Soon you'll be thanking me!" Tickey shouted and disappeared into the trees.
