"Awooooh! Awooooh!"A howling noise broke the peace of the jungle.


It had been a warm night with a bright full moon. The lions, panthers, bears, elephants, cheetahs, rhinos, hippos, elephants, gorillas, baboons and even the spider monkeys had gone to bed at their usual time.
Only the night-time creatures roamed the jungle at such a late hour. The owls and hawks hunted. The fruit bats fed on juicy dates, and the hyenas were up to their usual mischief.
"Awooooh!" The howl split the night again.
This time, everyone took notice. Animals stared from their trees and dens. The owls craned their necks and pierced the dark with their big eyes. The bats stopped feeding, and the fireflies stopped flying between the branches of the trees and plants.
The forest stood still, and nothing made a move or sound. Even the wind seemed to have stopped blowing, and a shadow covered the moon.


... The lion looked down at him and asked, "are you sure you can do this?"
Tickey bounced on the tip of his tail, "Yes, I will get to the bottom of this and find out who the howler is!"

The lion looked at the animals and said, "You should be as courageous as Tickey, instead of laughing at him."
