Forty-one thousand feet in the air, Kevin Tucker learns four gunmen have invaded Medina Honor School. His premiere school. Built with every conceivable safety feature a school should have.

One of the gunmen has been shot during the commission of a bank robbery. Why had they fled to the school for santuary? Convience? Pre-planned?

The local National Guard unit offers a surgeon to assist the shooting victim, along with a drone for ariel delivery of listening devices for the janitor to install. Kevin begins to suspect someone in the command tent is communicating with the gunmen when it becomes apparent they know of the janitor and his work behind the scenes. During the release of hostages, explosives are set off. Kevin's attempt to enter the school through a tunnel results in all but one of the gunmen being killed.

Two days later, it is revealed Kevin was the intended target. Another attempt is made on his life as he tries to return to his apartment. Even as he is guarded by the FBI.
