Kaukauna High School Class of 1947 became a book as a result of the current virus. During lock-down and the need to stay out the public to avoid public contact I decided to search records of all girlss that made Kaukauna High School Class of 1947. At 91 years of age I often wondered how many of the 72 female classmates were still living. My goal, using Google and Ancestry, com, was to make a listing to include all the birth and death for 72 girls. Many days I would spend 5 or 6 hours a day on Ancestry and Google and it killed many hours during in-house locked down. While doing the research many other things began to add to my research files. Draft information, obituaries, marriages, cemetery locations, children, and other interesting facts were added to files. Because I knew it was so easy to put information and thoughts into book form using Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing the idea then became a book. I had previously used KDP in the creation many other of books to include educational and/or family history books so why not a book on my 72 classmates from KHS Class of 1947. Several classmates helped in my search for data and help was also from several girls from the 1947 KHS class for which I am very thankful. Several female classmates from KHS Class of 1947 asked if I would the same for the 72 girls as I did for the 62 boys. after thought I decided it would try. I would need the married names to get started which was the reason I only did Class of 1947 boys only in book one. There are many holes in the finished project but I feel I have found as much information as possible. There are not many of my classmates of the 62 boys and 72 girls that would/could enjoy knowledge found in this book but I am sure their children, great-kids and even great-grand-kids might like to know about their years at Kaukauna High School 1943-1947. ENJOY THE PAST!!!I have also included information on 4 coaches who played an important part in development and future of 134 studentss. Thank you Fred Barribeau, Guy Krumm. Walt Rennebolm and Asher Shorey for your assistance in making both books interesting. Enjoy reading information on 72 girls that are HERE, THERE & EVERYWHERE. All that have passed on are truly missed by all.
