It had been months since the last time Polly found a dead body. She didn't miss it. Life was busy enough with her family and businesses. Now, they were preparing for spring break, end of the school year excitement, and then graduations. Rebecca was graduating from high school, Heath from college and Hayden would finish his masters program. Time was moving too fast and Polly was certain she'd never be ready for the changes those graduations would bring. Releasing her kids to their own lives wouldn't be easy. She might not be prepared, but they certainly were. Heath was looking for his own place to live and Rebecca was ready for college and her future. Bright and early on a Saturday morning, Henry and Polly were in the office, having sent Rebecca off for a day to Des Moines with Beryl Watson. They didn't expect to hear noise in the kitchen and upon investigation, discovered that JaRon had rescued a friend from terrible circumstances.
