Publisher Marketing: Ya remember don't ya bout us findin Merlin's treasure? While we was down findin the Atahualpa treasure Sir Thomas Mitchell over there in Camelot sent a telegram sayin he'd discovered what he was callin Merlin's cavern. He found a book on a pedestal in the cavern 'n fer the life of him couldn't make heads 'r tails of it. Since we was gone Marie wired back 'n asked him 't please send the book 't us. He wired us sayin that book was stuck 't that pedestal 'n he was bettin an army couldn't move it. In the same wire he was wantin 't know if we'd be interested in comin back over 'n takin a look at it. See yer already thinkin ahead of us knowin we'd be as curious as a cat lookin fer a mouse bout that book. As soon as we could we made arrangements 't get over there 'n take a look. Big Mike 'n Dr. Jack Ford had made arrangements 't write a book on the Atahualpa treasure. Jack was also sayin he could use some help dealin with the cannibals regardin gettin the rest of the treasure out. Big Mike 'n Rylan was headed down 't Bogota. Sam 'n me was on our own goin back 't Camelot. If I haven't stretched yer imagination 't the limits yet yer in fer a surprise. We was absolutely amazed at Merlin's powers. That Book of Magic Sir Thomas struggled with was the key 't things ya only dream bout. This time round yer gonna find out what at least one of them Penny Dreadful books they was writin bout us over in Europe had 't say. Yer gonna be as safe as a newborn babe on this adventure so ya can leave yer firepower behind when ya join us. Thanks for comin there ain't nothin in the world like havin ya along with us in somethin like this. Gramps Contributor Bio: Holmberg, Branton K I'm a grandfather, and great grandfather, and count those among the greatest achievements of my life. Of course no grandfather, grand or great, can accomplish such an honored status without the grandmother, both grand and great, and children who help create such blessings. I'm truly grateful. I spent many years as a university administrator and classroom professor, and also became an entrepreneur. I'm very long in the tooth and retired many years ago. I've always pushed myself to risk taking the next step in challenges I find daunting. Over the years I've found I've written thousands of pages related to my career choices and know the challenges of professional writing. Some months ago I started writing adventure stories to my young grandson. They were simply a means for me to share my love of adventure stories with him. I had not intended to put them before the public eye but my loved ones, including my grandson, encouraged me to do so. So here I am taking that risky next step in a challenge I again find very daunting. That challenge is whether you the reader will enjoy readin my stories as much as I have enjoyed creating them. I have thrown off the shackles of conventionality and resorted to using the lingo of a late nineteenth century cowpoke. Believe me when I tell you I'm murdering the English language. For you purists, forgive me. To the rest dive in and have fun. Branton Holmberg
